Gonzalo Villagrán Medina

Professor of Moral Theology and Dean of the Faculty of Theology at Loyola University. Gonzalo Villagrán holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Seville, afterwards he studied the Baccalaureatus in Theologia at the Faculty of Theology in Granada, the Licenciatus in Theologia at the Centre Sèvres in Paris and the Doctorate in Theology at Boston College.

His main lines of research are the relationship between religion and society, the public presence of the Church, and interreligious dialogue, especially Islam-Christian dialogue. Gonzalo Villagrán has published several books, including the book Public Theology. A voice for the Church in plural societies.
